TL;DR
Logitech has launched the Mobi Fold, a stylishly retro, foldable mouse designed for ultimate portability. This pocket-sized peripheral isn't just about looks; it features a 30-day battery life, a clever fold-to-power mechanism, and an intuitive touchpad that replaces the traditional scroll wheel. Compatible with Logi Options+, the Mobi Fold offers surprising customization and comfort for its thin profile, tracking smoothly on almost any surface with a 4000 DPI sensor. Whether you’re working from a crowded café or a cramped airplane tray, its quiet clicks and AI-enhanced folding make it a seamless travel companion. Despite a minor dragging sound from its base, its combination of value and functionality makes it a top contender for users on the move. Ready to see if this is the perfect addition to your tech bag? Dive into the full review to find out.
Recently, Logitech released their first foldable portable mouse, and as of today, June 12, it is available in stores and no longer exclusive to Logitech’s website. Senses.se was curious and had the opportunity to test it.
First Impressions – Logitech Mobi Fold
With a stylish retro-toned appearance and a comfortable feel in the hand, the Logitech Mobi Fold hits the mark right from the start. Much of the heavy lifting is done by the classic off-white color paired with the foldable ribbed section. The Mobi Fold is also being released in two additional colors—the classic Logitech Graphite and purple—though these colors provide a more modern impression. Naturally, preference is a matter of taste, but in today’s market of sleekly designed products, the variety is welcome.
Despite its thin construction, a full charge provides just over 30 days of use, and should the battery run out, it can be fast-charged to provide 22 hours of use in just one minute. This means approximately 30 seconds of charging would cover an entire day. While we haven’t been able to test these figures ourselves, Logitech tends to stand behind their performance claims.

The technical features are also in place
Mobi Fold includes Easy Switch and is also compatible with Logi Options+, which allows you to modify the scroll wheel’s functions. This is somewhat of a simplification, however, as the scroll wheel has been replaced by a touchpad. Nevertheless, customization remains a reality because beneath the touchpad are two additional buttons. Out of the box, these are programmed as forward/backward buttons but can easily be set in Logi Options+ to activate the Logitech Actions Ring instead. In the end, the device features four buttons and a touchpad, which we are actually quite impressed by.
The click sound is very quiet and discreet. One part that does make quite a bit of noise, however, is the strip that the back of the mouse rests against. Looking at the design, the mouse would likely fare fine without it, which would also eliminate the dragging sound that occurs.
To start the mouse, you simply unfold it; to turn it off, you do the opposite. Cleverly, there is an AI function installed to prevent accidental presses during the folding process, and it works flawlessly every time.

The Experience – Mobi Fold
For being a strictly portable mouse, it is surprisingly comfortable, even for large hands. The touchpad is intuitive; if you swipe your finger to simulate spinning a traditional wheel, it behaves accordingly. If you hold your finger down to control the scroll wheel more precisely, it follows suit. Consequently, there is no learning curve; you use it just like a regular mouse. From an ergonomic perspective, the Mobi Fold is naturally nothing to marvel at, but that is also far from its intended purpose. No, the Mobi Fold is meant to be easily slipped into or pulled out of a bag while on the go. In those moments, the fact that it’s so easy to turn on and off becomes a truly useful feature.
The sensor resolution is 4000 DPI, which is about half that of, for example, the MX Master 4, and for its purpose, it is perfectly sufficient. It is just as sensitive on a table surface as on a mouse pad, which is relevant if you are working at a café or an office. In other words, it works on most common surfaces where a computer mouse is typically used.

The Bottom Line – Logitech Mobi Fold
The Mobi Fold has many strengths and perhaps only one weakness: its dragging sound. The strengths are its portability, battery life, technical functionality, and simplicity. We also consider it good value for the money, priced at approximately 950 SEK. You know best if you have a need for a portable mouse, but if you do, the Mobi Fold is a perfect alternative. It’s also quite stylish.
