This time, we have tested the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni, a premium headset aimed at those who want high sound quality, smart features, and maximum flexibility regardless of which platform you play on.
What’s in the box?
In the package, we find everything needed to get started, with the control station taking center stage. Here, you charge the batteries while easily adjusting the EQ, audio mix, and other settings directly without having to open any software.
In addition to the headset itself and the control station, an extra battery is also included, which is an important part of the SteelSeries Infinite Power System. Thanks to the two batteries, you can use one while the other is charging, which in practice means you avoid long interruptions due to a low battery level.
In the box, we also find two USB-C cables for charging and connectivity. However, an AUX cable is missing, which feels somewhat strange since the headset supports analog connection. It would have been an appreciated detail if SteelSeries had also included this cable, especially for users who want to be able to use the headset with more types of devices.

It should be mentioned, however, that it was not entirely obvious how to get started with all the functions immediately. With several different connection options, settings, and features, there is a certain learning curve at the beginning. Once you have gone through all the parts and understood how the system works, however, everything falls into place, and the headset becomes significantly easier and smoother to use in daily life.
Impressive battery life
One of the biggest advantages of the Arctis Nova Pro Omni is the Infinite Power System. The headset comes with two swappable batteries, allowing you to use one battery while the other is charging. Changing the battery is quick and easy, which in practice means you never have to interrupt your gaming because the battery ran out.
We have previously tested the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless where the battery life was approximately 22–25 hours per battery. With the Arctis Nova Pro Omni, SteelSeries has taken a step forward and further improved the battery life.
Each battery offers up to 30 hours of playtime via a 2.4 GHz connection and up to 50 hours with Bluetooth. If the battery should still run out, a fast charge of 15 minutes provides approximately four hours of extra playtime.
The combination of two swappable batteries and the improved battery life means you can essentially play indefinitely without having to think about charging.
