Shark Glossi 2‑in‑1 Hot Tool is their latest addition, developed to provide shine, frizz control, and a salon-like finish at home, while being gentler than traditional heat tools. We have been testing Shark Glossi for a couple of weeks now, and the results have exceeded expectations.
First impressions
The packaging feels thoughtful and exclusive, with clear instructions directly on the box. The tool is easy to hold and simple to understand, even for someone not used to styling tools. The heated brush makes a professional first impression and feels like a premium product even before you turn it on. I must admit I was a little nervous at first, as I’ve previously had my hair get stuck in a round brush, but there were no issues at all here. The brush glides easily through the hair, and after a few attempts, I quickly understood how to work with it. This made it very easy to get started.
Previously, I have needed to use a hair dryer, round brush, and hair straightener to achieve a similar result. The fact that this heated brush can replace three different tools is therefore a major advantage, especially considering how limited space often is in a bathroom cabinet. It makes the styling routine both smoother and more space-saving, without compromising on the result.

Advantages
Shark Glossi delivers really nice results on dry hair. For frizzy hair that easily becomes dull or lifeless, dry mode makes a big difference. The hair becomes shiny and soft without feeling heavy. Furthermore, the tool is easy to handle, making it simple to achieve an even result even if you aren’t experienced with styling. The luxurious feel of both the design and finish contributes to the overall experience and makes the tool feel like a well-thought-out premium choice.
My own hair is very long and can easily look dull and lifeless, so for me, this really became a great tool for adding more shine and movement to the hair. In the image below, I have styled my hair in dry mode, and the result is after about five minutes. Moreover, it lasted for about two days, which exceeded expectations.
Disadvantages
Drying hair from wet to dry takes significantly longer than with a regular hair dryer. For long hair, the process can take around 25 minutes, and it requires going over the same sections several times. Wet to dry mode is therefore not as efficient as a traditional hair dryer, which is especially noticeable if you have thick or long hair.
At the same time, it is important to consider the big picture. If I had blow-dried my hair normally, I would still have needed to use at least two additional tools—a round brush and a straightener—to achieve the same smooth and shiny result. With Glossi everything is done with a single tool, which partially compensates for the longer drying time. It becomes a compromise between speed and convenience, where the final result actually justifies the process.

Shark Glossi 2‑i‑1 Hot Tool is a luxurious and modern styling tool that primarily impresses when used on dry hair. The result is shiny, frizz-free, and salon-like, and the tool feels both gentle and easy to handle. However, it is not the fastest option if you want to dry your hair from wet to dry, especially if you have long or thick hair. For those who prioritize finish, shine, and an elegant blowout, it is a very good choice that lives up to its premium feel.
