The world presents a perilous landscape, dominated by oil-slicked creatures known as <strong>Devourers<\/strong>, which are determined to preserve the desolate state of the world. The sound design and musical score are exceptionally well-crafted, and in combination with the visuals and mechanics, <em>After Us<\/em> delivers a compelling sensory experience and engaging gameplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.senses.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/afus-launch-screenshot03-3840x2160-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.senses.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/afus-launch-screenshot03-3840x2160-1-1000x562.jpg\" alt=\"Foto: \u00a92023 \u2013\u00a0Private Division - After Us - Sun set\" class=\"wp-image-64264\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Foto: \u00a92023 \u2013&nbsp;Private Division<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A notable similarity is the presence of an oily substance suffocating life, mirroring the narrative found in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.senses.se\/en\/review-the-gunk\/\">The Gunk<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.senses.se\/en\/review-wavetale\/\">Wavetale<\/a><\/strong>. These titles, released within a year of each other, share a common theme with <em>After Us<\/em>, where the environment is threatened by entities that stifle nature, and a female protagonist emerges as the key to resolving the crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A minor concern is the graphics mode options, limited to either 4K resolution at 30fps or 2K resolution at 60fps.
