The charm of the Nintendo Switch 2<\/strong> lies in its flexibility and versatility. You can play it as a handheld device, then fold out the kickstand on the screen and detach the Joy-Cons to play with a friend, and of course, connect it to your TV so it functions like any other console. In other words, extra gear is sometimes needed to get the most out of your Nintendo Switch 2<\/em>. We have been testing a whole bunch of items from Nacon<\/strong>, and there is something here for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AC ADAPTER<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nintendo Switch 2<\/em> requires a significant amount of power to charge the battery properly, and not all adapters are capable of delivering what is needed. This adapter is 65W<\/strong> and thus provides fast charging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A one-and-a-half-meter USB\u2011C cable<\/strong> is included in the price. Powerful, stylish, and perfect to keep in your bag while traveling so you never have to worry about the console running out of juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUADCHARGING STATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The clever thing about the Nintendo Switch 2 is that you can connect up to eight Joy-Cons or controllers to use simultaneously. The problem is that if you have more than two Joy-Cons, it takes a while to charge them all if you only have the console. Therefore, an external charger is preferable. There are plenty of options out there, and here are three of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one charges up to four Joy-Cons simultaneously, and as an added bonus, you can also use it as a game controller. The charging indicator shows the charging status, and you can then easily detach them to use individually or in pairs as a game controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally, I felt it was too small to serve as a controller in my hands, but it doesn’t feel like it was primarily developed for adults. The idea is still good, in my opinion, and suddenly you have two controllers with full functionality and a charger in one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUADLIGHT RGB CHARGER<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This one has no extra features, but it is stylish with a fairly cool look. It has nine built-in light effects and a clear charging indicator at the top so you can easily see the status of the batteries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also charges up to four Joy-Cons at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is perfect for those who want a bit more flair in their lives, and it has a very affordable price tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MULTICHARGE DOCK STATION RGB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now we come to the big brother of Joy-Con chargers, as this one actually connects to the original console dock, allowing you to charge up to six Joy-Cons simultaneously\u2014two in the console and four in the charger. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has a nice light effect on the front and a built-in fan so that it doesn’t overheat the console. The only thing I could see as a slight negative is that the fan is quite audible, which adds some extra noise around the console. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t sound like a vacuum cleaner, but since the original console is dead silent, there is still more noise than you are used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

POLYCARBONATE HARDCASE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When traveling, you need to protect your Nintendo Switch 2<\/em> from bumps, scratches, and other accidents, so it’s good to be able to put on a protective shell. This is made of hard but flexible plastic that fits around the screen and the Joy-Cons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation is simple, and once it’s in place, you hardly notice it’s there. There’s also no feeling that it might accidentally fall off; once it’s on, it stays on. You can easily access all buttons and triggers, and the kickstand on the back can be extended without any problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You cannot dock the Switch to the TV while the case is on; you have to remove the part surrounding the screen. The protection around the Joy-Cons can stay. However, when you want to remove the Joy-Con covers, there is a small plastic tab holding them together that feels like a weak point and could potentially break if you take the cover off too often. If you are careless, it could break quite easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perfect to have on for a trip, but as mentioned, be careful when attaching and removing the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HIGH-RESISTANCE SCREEN PROTECTOR<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just like your smartphone, the Switch has a touchscreen that can get scratched or, in the worst case, break if you drop it or drop something on it. So, in combination with the shell above, a screen protector is a great idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is extremely easy to apply it to your Switch, provided you follow the clear instructions. Everything is marked with the order in which to use it, and the applicator helps to mount the protector perfectly. Be sure to use the alcohol wipe to remove all fingerprints and the cloth to get rid of all dust, as even the smallest grain of dust looks very distracting under the protector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RIGID TRANSPORT CASE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last but not least, a carrying case is needed for your Switch. No matter how much protection you have, it’s never a good idea to let it rattle around without a proper carrying case. This one has a solid design with reinforcement, so it’s hard enough not to collapse but still soft and flexible enough to be packed anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the case, there is an insert so it can also be used for the smaller original Nintendo Switch. I removed it, placed my Nintendo Switch 2 inside, and fastened the strap. Now it sits there safely and securely without me having to worry about snapping the thumbsticks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also compartments for accessories like game cartridges and other things you might need to take with you. You can fit a charging cable, but not the adapter, in the case without risking it pressing against the console in an undesirable way. Additionally, there is a sturdy zipper around it that holds the case together very well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In summary, all the products feel very solid and well-constructed. The only product I wasn’t entirely impressed with is the Hardcase<\/strong>, where I felt there are very small parts that could break after a few uses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, I would definitely recommend these Switch 2 accessories from Nacon as they are both well-made and affordable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
