Is an exceptional vacuum cleaner a source of excitement? Indeed it is! We’ve had the opportunity to test the Roborock F25 ACE<\/strong>, a combined wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Initially, there was some skepticism regarding its ability to handle stubborn stains, especially in a household with pets and children prone to spills and tracking in debris. However, the F25 ACE<\/em> proved its capabilities.<\/p>\n

This single tool offers powerful vacuuming and effective floor mopping, an excellent solution given typical storage constraints. It eliminates the need to vacuum separately and then retrieve a traditional mop. The F25 ACE<\/em> functions as an efficient, all-in-one daily cleaning assistant.<\/p>\n

The Flexi Pro<\/a><\/strong> was the last model in this category we reviewed, and it clearly indicated the direction Roborock <\/a>was taking. The F25 ACE<\/em> advances this lineage with enhanced suction power, larger water tanks, and a more sophisticated self-cleaning dock.<\/p>\n

The F25 ACE<\/em> immediately conveys a robust and contemporary feel. Its design is sleek and refined, giving a premium impression even before operation. The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable and secure grip. Despite its noticeable weight, the motorized wheels facilitate effortless forward motion, eliminating the need for strenuous pulling. By leveraging the foot pedal at the base, the handle can be angled almost completely flat, allowing easy access to challenging areas such as under sofas, beds, or TV cabinets.<\/p>\n

This model is larger than a standard stick vacuum, meaning both the unit and its docking station require a dedicated space within the home, as it cannot be discreetly stored in a typical cleaning cupboard.<\/p>\n

Technical Details<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Roborock F25 ACE<\/em> features a substantial suction power of 20,000 Pa, positioning it in the higher performance segment for combined wet and dry vacuum cleaners. Its 4,000 mAh battery provides up to an hour of operation in Eco mode, with more intensive cleaning modes reducing usage time to approximately 20\u201330 minutes.<\/p>\n

The water tanks are generously sized, with a 740 ml capacity for clean water and 720 ml for dirty water. This allows for cleaning larger areas without frequent refilling or emptying. The machine also incorporates a separate detergent tank, ensuring consistent and automated dosing.<\/p>\n

The noise level is somewhat elevated but not unduly disruptive, especially considering its dual vacuuming and mopping functions.<\/p>\n

Self-cleaning and Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n

A standout feature is the self-cleaning docking station. Upon completion of cleaning, the unit is placed in the dock, initiating an automatic cleaning cycle that rinses and sanitizes the roller. The roller is then dried, mitigating the risk of odors and bacterial growth. It was observed that the noise level increased during the cleaning program, and the vacuum cleaner exhibited minor movement within the dock.<\/p>\n

User Experience and Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n

In terms of cleaning efficacy, the F25 ACE<\/em> delivers impressive results. It adeptly handles both dry debris and wet spills in a single pass, with its internal rinsing system maintaining roller cleanliness during use. The vacuum cleaner was rigorously tested on a variety of messes, including dried food particles on parquet, tracked-in gravel and slush, blueberry stains, and long hair. Notably, this is the first vacuum cleaner where hair entanglement on the roller was not an issue.<\/p>\n

However, it was observed that baseboards and edges did not achieve a completely clean finish. Repeated passes over thresholds often resulted in increased dampness without effectively removing dirt near the edge. Therefore, some additional precision is required when cleaning around baseboards and thresholds.<\/p>\n

Despite its strengths, the F25 ACE<\/em> has certain limitations. It is not designed for carpets; however, an incidental test on a long-pile carpet yielded no adverse effects. It is also somewhat heavier than a standard stick vacuum, which can be noticeable when transporting it between rooms.<\/p>\n

Naturally, there are considerations. It is not optimized for carpets, occupies more space than a conventional stick vacuum, has a higher weight, and produces a noticeable noise level. Nevertheless, for users primarily cleaning hard floors who seek a device that genuinely enhances daily living, the F25 ACE<\/em> stands out as one of the most practical and effective options evaluated.<\/p>\n
