“An Olympic skier transitioning into a high-stakes poker organizer”<\/em> might sound like a plot from a fictional narrative. However, in the case of Molly Bloom’s story, it’s a documented reality.<\/p>\n

Molly Bloom (Jessica Chastain) undergoes rigorous training throughout her life under the guidance of her father, Larry (Kevin Costner), who instills in her the drive to excel. During a critical run with a chance at a gold medal, a minor accident results in a severe injury, effectively ending her skiing career.
