Encodya<\/strong> is set in 2062 in Neo Berlin. We are introduced to Tina<\/strong>, an orphaned girl, and her robust robot companion, Sam-53<\/strong>, as they navigate the challenges of daily survival, seeking food and shelter. Living together on a rooftop, the inseparable pair face the world as a team. One day, Tina discovers that her father entrusted her with a critical mission, and it is now her responsibility to fulfill it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the surface, Encodya<\/em> shares similarities with many other point-and-click adventure games<\/a>. The core gameplay mechanics are familiar: players find objects, combine them to solve puzzles, and interact with non-player characters to gather information and progress. While much of the gameplay feels familiar, Encodya<\/em> distinguishes itself through its narrative and visual design. The game presents a meticulously crafted vision of the future. While drawing inspiration from classic futuristic films like Blade Runner<\/strong>, it establishes its unique identity with a distinctive style and attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The voice acting is well-executed, reflecting the developers’ effort to imbue each character with a distinct personality. Initially, the explorable areas are somewhat limited, with only a few sections available in each location. However, as the game progresses, more destinations are unlocked, and the scope of the adventure expands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sam-53<\/em>, the protagonist’s ever-present robot companion, is a standout character. Players can choose to control either Tina or Sam-53, which unlocks unique gameplay opportunities based on the chosen character. For example, Sam-53 can easily break objects, while Tina may find it easier to persuade others for assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The graphics are undeniably beautiful, evoking a simultaneously vibrant and somber atmosphere. However, despite the appealing presentation, the game mechanics can feel somewhat unrefined. At times, interacting with specific objects proves difficult, even when the cursor is precisely positioned. Additionally, the fixed camera perspective and relatively small character size can make navigation challenging in certain environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
